Amin had started wrestling since he was a teenager and among his honors was the national champion, the national armed forces champion, the third runner-up in the Takhti Cup international competitions and being a member of the Iranian national team. Amin dreamed of becoming a world and Olympic champion, and was trying to build a good life for himself. He worked as a carpenter by the side of the ship and helped his family because Amin's father had died. Almost a year had passed since Amin's disappearance when it was reported that a couple found someone's bones in Drag mountain in Shiraz. Amin's family and friends were all waiting for the results of the DNA test, and after four months, the result came back and it was positive. The positive result was another crime of the Islamic Republic of taking the life of a loved one who was the victim of his friend Navid Afkari.
