I was killed on July 29, 1400. I was only 17 years old, I was the son of Rostam Bahmani Gorouyi, the second child of the family and a student from Sosan village of Izeh. I had gone to Izeh from our own village for plastering as a worker. On July 24, 1400, large-scale protests started in various cities of Khuzestan province, first from the Arab-populated areas, in protest against lack of water and unfavorable conditions such as poverty and discrimination, and quickly spread to Ahvaz, Sosangard, Izeh, Dezful, Behbahan, Mahshahr and Abadan. became. I joined my compatriots in Izeh during the street protests. There, the oppressors were shooting people with war bullets. It was around 9 o'clock on Tuesday night, July 29, when in the center of Izeh, where the protests were concentrated, suddenly, repressive officers shot two bullets in my chest and I died.... My body was taken to Ahvaz for autopsy. Later, my family planned to bury my body in Izeh, but the security forces did not allow it, and with the sudden announcement of the burial, they forced my family to move my body to Golal village in Sosan, Izeh, and bury it there. The funeral ceremony was held on July 31st, the people of Izeh, who came to the streets to support the thirsty people of Khuzestan, participated in the funeral ceremony and I was buried among a crowd of my compatriots....
I went to the street to protest for the minimum rights that every citizen should have and I didn't have it, my answer was two deadly bullets to my chest.
Don't let my blood be trampled, continue my way and remember me on the day of freedom and don't forget me...
