I went missing in 1378. I was twenty-three years old, born on 31 Shahrivar 1355, the son of Akram Naqabi and Hashem Zinali. I lived in Tehran and graduated in computer science. During the student protests after the attack on Tehran University campus (18-23 July) in the morning of 23 July 1378, my friend Shahram Chiraghi Zanjani came to our house in Ponk neighborhood in the northwest of Tehran to go out together, when I was about to leave I was at home, my mother tried to prevent me from leaving the house because she was worried that I would be caught during the student protests and clashes with the armed forces and my personal clothes, but I told her that I would be back soon and left. My mother was worried and went to the alley. One of the neighbors informed her that unknown people forced Shahram and me into the car and took them away. My parents, who were very worried after my arrest, went to the police station and different hospitals, but they did not find any news about me. He handed two of us over to the police because they were kidnapped, but they did not follow up. After following up with my family, the security agencies announced the IRGC's information protection as the reason for my arrest, but that agency did not answer about my fate either. Two or three months after we were arrested, I only had one short call from Evin to my mother and I told her that I was fine and to look after my work. After that, one of the students arrested in the events of July 1378, named Ahmad Batabi, when he was kept in a solitary cell in Tawheed prison, he heard the voice of the prison officers who took a young man named Zinali for questioning and then to a solitary cell. But he did not know the first name and this was the only news that reached my family.
About 6 months after my arrest, one day at 2:00 PM, someone called our home and said he was calling Evin. He first asked about my friend Shahram, and whether Saeed listened to foreign radios or was politically active. In response to my mother's question, does she have any news about me? He just said, God willing, there will be news, I just wanted to get information from you!!! Some time after my arrest in the month of Ramadan of the same year (December 17 to December 16), the doorbell rang and the party said that he had a letter for my parents. They did not introduce themselves and did not show any search warrant. Despite this, they searched the house, ransacked the whole house and took my books, manuscripts and computer with them. The officers asked my parents who I was hanging out with. And when my father asked who are you and which organization did you come from? Just saying it was wrong!! And that they are not allowed to leave the house for an hour. My parents informed the information department and asked if these agents came from there. But did not hear an answer.
After that, my family filed a case at Branch 11 of the Tehran Intelligence Police Department to handle my case, but it was unsuccessful. One evening, another person called our house and said that I am calling from an organization, your child is alive and well, but when my mother asked about the crime and my whereabouts, she avoided answering. After some time, a colonel from the police force told my mother that Saeed participated in a rally for Manouchehr Mohammadi's speech at Tehran University and that your son is a rioter and now he is in the hands of the operation children. My mother went to the office of the representative of Tehran in the parliament, Ali Akbar Mousavi Khoini, and he obtained a power of attorney from my mother and said that he would follow up on my case, but the next time my mother went to his office, he saw that Mousavi Khoini himself was arrested (June 22 to Mehr 29). 2005).
Once, Evin Prosecutor's Office, Tawheed Detention Center called my mother and said that your child was detained by security. After that, Evin's security called and asked a series of questions about me, for example, did I talk to alien radios? Or was I in contact with my friend? My family is still following news about me...
My mother complained to Branch 6 of the Islamic Revolution Court. The officials asked him for my information so that they can contact the international police and ask if I left Iran or not. After a few months, they also informed that I did not leave the country.
In 2006, the deputy prosecutor of Tehran told my mother that Saeed is a patriot and a hypocrite because he has passed security information to the People's Mojahedin Organization and is imprisoned in the IRGC intelligence and has not cooperated so far, and my mother can contact me from IRGC intelligence. And he took the lead, but the follow-up was still unsuccessful.
My mother and my sister Elnaz were arrested on July 17, 2009 for activities against the regime, and after 13 days Elnaz was released from prison with bail and my mother was released from prison, as well as my father who was arrested in a rally in front of Evin prison. Shed was sentenced to 91 days of imprisonment and 74 lashes by Branch 1060 of the Second Criminal Court of Tehran. In these years, my mother was arrested and imprisoned twice, once for an interview with the Voice of America and another time for participating in the gathering of mourning mothers in Tulip Park.
Ten years after my disappearance, my mother asked in a letter that if I were killed, at least she would be informed about the burial place, which was still unsuccessful. On July 18, 1392, my mother announced to BBC Farsi that in a meeting she had with Alireza Avai, Chief Justice of Tehran Province, she had promised him that she would find out about my fate. Although I had a phone call with my mother a few months after my arrest, the officials of the judiciary did not accept that I had been arrested for a while, but finally, after a lot of follow-up, my family said that I was arrested and I was in Evin prison at least until 1981.
During these years, my mother sent letters to all institutions to follow up on my situation, but wherever she reached, the file was filed, she just wanted to show proof that I was arrested, killed, or had a grave. When he was arrested for pursuing my case, he was told that you came after 12 years for bones??
My mother visited Evin prison many times and she even went to Khavaran cemetery, but the officials did not give her an answer as to whether I was buried there or not.
A person who introduced himself as a member of the Ministry of Information took a Pikaan car to find news about me from my family, but then the same person told one of our relatives to tell my parents not to wait to meet Saeed. Because he lost his memory due to torture. Many times my parents gave money to different people hoping to get news from me, but all these efforts were unsuccessful. Even Emaduddin Baghi, the head of the Prisoners' Rights Defense Association, could not get any information from me.
During these years, my family referred to the leadership house, the IRGC intelligence ministry, the police force, the revolutionary court, the interior ministry, the parliament, the judiciary and the Tehran prosecutor's office, but they did not receive any information from me, even after the 2008 elections, my mother He contacted Karroubi, Mousavi, Mohsen Rezaei and Abdul Hossein Rooh Al Amini, but did not receive an answer.
It has been 24 years since my disappearance, my parents still don't know for what sin I am missing?? Not a sign... not a grave... not a body...
They are still looking for news from me with a picture in the frame 💔
